With a PPSC(Pupil Personnel Services Credential: authorizes any of the following specializations: School Social Work) and an ASW (Associate Clinical Social Worker: Credential that allows people to work in behavioral health in California) Alejandra Leon is tired of waiting for the “perfect” time.
Here is what MyTheatre is offering in 2025:
Every other Wednesday beginning March 19, 2025.
Group Work: 1.5-hour session of mental health reflection. Limited to 10 children per group.
Every Saturday beginning March 22, 2025.
Prepare for a Play!!: 3-hour sessions that include mental health reflection by guiding children through creating a play from scratch! This will include an actual performance in September. Limited to 15 children per group.
Every other Wednesday Morning and weekend.
Individual Work: 1-hour session of mental health reflection. Available upon request.
Ready For Group?
At MyTheatre Company, we are dedicated to using Expressive Arts in everything we do! By using this method we are stepping up our efforts in addressing the issue of mental health in our children. When using theatre as a healing tool, children will learn coping mechanisms for possible behavioral issues. Children will enjoy learning how to write a play, how to use vocal and movement techniques, and other exercises to better their lives! Theatre classes are movement and vocal-based while using Expressive Arts therapy as its foundation and core, allowing for mental restoration.
Group classes will consist of 1.5 hour sessions every other Wednesday beginning March 19th, 2025.
Please call Alejandra Leon for group information and time.
Individual group work on Wednesday morning: By Appointment Only
Lead Social Worker: Alejandra P. Leon
Donation Based. Please contact MyTheatre for payment information. Again, group sessions are limited to 10 children.

‘‘All the world ‘s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.”
— William Shakespeare
